Are you forever hungry?

Are you never satisfied?

Have you tried to quench your spiritual thirst

with the worldly things you’ve tried?

Well the world ain’t got the answers!

You might as well take heed:

Jesus is the only one

who can meet our every need.

He guarantees my safety.

Jesus is enough!

He satisfies my soul.

Jesus is enough!

In Him I rest

for Jesus is enough, He’s more than enough for me!

Beware the evil one

who tries to tempt us with his glitter.

You’ve got to realise it’s all false;

It’ll only leave you bitter.

Don’t clamber for more money,

A better job or spouse or fame.

That’s just meaningless, it’s never enough.

Seek God, and call on his name.

Though I think there’s worth in beauty, wealth and profit

What use are they? They wither away.

Jesus only, omnipotent!

Though the path may wind and dip

our Lord will lift us if we flail.

He assures us that we’ll not be challenged

beyond that which we are able.

He’s our all-sufficient resource,

Jehovah Jireh. Our God is all.

His Kingdom should be our one true goal

All other matters are trivial.
